What is Adhd

Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder a disorder that directly affects nervous system development (ADHD). The nervous system includes brain functions such as emotions, self-control, memory, impulsivity, attention. It causes problems in creational activities like in school, at home or at work.

Symptoms of Adhd

Its symptoms can be observed at a very young age. It causes impairment of the body, rude behavior, undesirable actions, being unable to sit, unwanted talking or physical activity, acting without thinking, no sense of danger, repeated fits, difficulty in learning, etc. Its symptoms can continue to have from childhood to adulthood. In adults, it causes hyperactivity and restlessness.

Adults later get involved to solve their own problems by taking other drugs like Adderall. As this affects day-to-day life activity, at some points the symptoms increases, and at some points, it decreases. It also causes a person to forget things. In adults it brings abnormality in mood swings, thinking, perception, feeling, obsession and compulsion.

Causes of Adhd

In most of the cases, as studied, the cause for this disorder is still unknown. In 75% of cases, the generic disorder causes the risk of ADHD. Consumption of nicotine or such a drug during pregnancy is one of the reasons. It can also be due to the lack of parenting and discipline during child growth.

Types of Adhd

As studied so far, there are mainly 3 types of ADHD depending on the area of the brain it affects.

COMBINED: this is observed when the person shows traces of rude behavior, regular distraction, hyperactivity, or hypertension. As its precise cause is unknown, researchers suggest that it's genetic.

IMPULSIVE: in simple words, it can be described as acting without thinking. It continues till adulthood and can affect sincere works like driving, running machinery, face problems while doing quiet work. Smaller children may do unwanted physical activity.

INATTENTIVE: It causes difficulty in doing works that require attention such as paying attention to details, waiting for someone or something, trouble staying focused, forgetfulness, and lack of organization.

Treatment of Adhd

The traits of ADHD can be often observed by child behavior, not resulting in the effect of drugs, medications, and mental development. In boys, the diagnose is two times more often than girls. The best diagnose period is 6-12 years. In the world, around 2-5% of people suffer from ADHD.  In most cases, it is treated with a combination of medication and therapy. Parent’s training is a step we can start with as this is one of the source of origin of ADHD. In order to achieve success in this therapy, one need to close monitor the subjects, complete follow-up on time.

Medication for Adhd

After analyzing that a child is ADHD positive, the medication starts which takes up to several steps. Till now, there is as such final steps to cure this disease. The medication includes some hearing and vision tests including various other tests. One needs to prepare a proper checklist in order to achieve success in the medication. The disease persists from childhood to adulthood on 30-50% of cases.

The medication process affects the quality of life. Apart from everything, the diagnose becomes easy if the diseased willing to cure themselves. One’s willingness for its cure brings more progressive change than medication.

History of Adhd

The first clear description of ADHD is found in 1902 by George Still. He observed in many children about lack of attention or hyperactivity. He also observed that nature and nurture both might be the cause. They also observed that there’s fine line between brain damage, and learning problem, than started to search the cure for this.

The terminology used to describe this disease changed over time. Today, it comes with different names and brands names in market.
