Mens health is an important topic to discuss. In most of the cases it is observed that men’s health is compromised in today’s scenario because of work pressure and family responsibility. A mens health can be considered healthy when the body and mind are in sound state without any disease and stress.

IMPORTANCE

It is usually seen that mens health takes a back seat in comparison of women’s health. Men tend to consume alcohol and smoke more often which leads to unhealthy lifestyle and unhealthy body. Mens health is not a topic to be talked about loud. Women go for check- ups to the doctor more often than men.

Men always have a risk of heart, lungs, testicular and prostate related issues. But the best part is that most of the diseases in men are treatable if diagnosed early. Proper diet, daily workouts and meditation can help in leading a good and healthy lifestyle.  

SYMPTOMS 

Symptoms related to bad men’s health can vary person to person. Every individual shows up with different symptoms. Most of the men are likely to suffer from heart and lung issues. Reasons for the same are unbalanced blood pressure, diabetes, obesity, high cholesterol level, or it can be hereditary. 

Second disease which is commonly found in males is cancer. It can be caused by excessive alcohol consumption, cigarette smoking, physical inactiveness, obesity, unbalanced diet.

Osteoporosis is also commonly seen in males along with the females. Symptoms showing of this disease are excessive soda, alcohol and tobacco consumption, increasing age, low calcium intake, or physical inactivity

PRECAUTIONS

There are some precautions, if taken, these problems and diseases associated with the mens health can be cured and protected. Balanced diet and daily workout makes body healthy and keeps you energetic throughout the day. Avoid consuming alcohol and tobacco, as both these things are dangerous for the body. Alcohol and tobacco increases cholesterol level in the body as well as unbalances blood sugar level. 

Always opt for daily check- ups to the doctor, it helps in making sure that the body is healthy inside and out. Include multivitamins and calcium in your protein rich diet. Vegetables and fruits also play a very important role in our body. Take out some time out to understand and pamper you. Meditation is also very important to perform at least 15 minutes a day. 

Obesity is the most prominent factor for most of the problems faced by a man’s body. Go for daily work outs; if not possible include a 30 minute brisk walk. This will help in weight management and keep you fit.

WARNINGS

If an individual wants to lead a healthy life throughout with their loved ones, then it is mandatory to make your health your first priority. As work and money is important for leading a good life, same goes to health also. Physical health is equally important to lead a good life. Below given are some warnings which need to be taken care of for healthy life style.

  • Physical hygiene is very important. Keep yourself clean, take bath regularly, go for regular hair cut and shave.
  • Avoid or reduce consumption of alcohol and tobacco.
  • Keep a check on mental health. In case of unbalanced mindset or thoughts, consult a therapist.
  • Go for regular check –ups to the doctor which includes blood sugar level, cholesterol level, blood pressure and some general testing.
  •  Oral care is also very important. Never avoid your oral care.
  • Maintain a balanced diet. Rich in protein and fiber. Include fruits and vegetables in your diet.
  • Drink water with minimum quantity of 2 liters a day.
  • Take out some time for meditation.
